Hello. Yes. I sound a bit... numb right now. Well at least I think I do. But that's just because I've been through lots since my last post, and a lot of things have changed since that post. Some are happy, but some are not so good. But hey. I know the Lord is above, looking after me, and He will always be there, to support me and to guide me. At least I know He is there.
This will just be an update to show that I'm still alive, and that I'm still around. Nothing much. Well yeah, I'd probably just touch on a little bit of what I have accomplished during this period.
First things first. Sugar Hit! After 2 years of wanting to go. I finally went. With a group of friends, we went up to Shangri-La Hotel at the Rocks, and we had a lovely dessert. I'll talk about that later on.
Second. BHBC church camp! It's been more than a year since our last church camp, and this time it was certainly much warmer than last time! I'll do that post within this week. I promise.
So keep tuned!

Brand new start. Brand new 365 challenge with Brian
Yes, you read it right! I started a new 365 project again. I failed in my previous one mainly because I was very busy, and there just wasn't enough time for me to take a photo and upload it. Or even take a photo, and forget I actually took a photo. So to keep my interest going I decided to take on the challenge again with a twist!
For this challenge I got Brian to join as well. So the two of us. Photography Noobs. In for a year of photography where we are opponents! So basically, we post the photo onto Facebook, and DigitalRev, and whoever gets the most likes in that week, wins and gets to choose the next theme. Yeah! Themes, we have themes this time. So basically it's themes. Enough said.
So we've both conquered 2 weeks already, and starting on the 3rd week..
First week: Red, White and Blue

This weeks: Monochrome... I've never tried this before, but I have done black and white before... will post some other time!

Last of College celebration @ Max Brenners
What do you feel like when you have accomplished something major in your lives? Cry? Laugh? Or Run away, not knowing what to do next? I typically would jump up and down like a maniac, shouting yeah yeah yeah until I lose my breath. That's what I am feeling right now.
It's been a year since I've started st Bedford College, and now it's the end. It's too fast. The time has gone too fast. And I still complain why some days hasn't been going faster? A year is like a lightning bolt! Before you know it, it's Christmas 2012, then New Years, and so on. Why complain that time is slow? That's just an illusion of not using time efficiently enough, and just doing things that isn't productive enough.
So since it was my (and other friends) last day at the college, instead of just jumping like maniacs, we opt for a afternoon tea at Max Brenners. Yep. Max Brenners, the bald guy, with lots of chocolate. I've been longing to go for so long, but hasn't been there due to either being too full after a gathering dinner or not having enough money. So this was my chance to have this famous chocolate place, and see how is it good, and why does so many people know the place.
I took a few shots with my friends, and yea, such yum waffles and icecream, icecream which I dearly miss...
This was the Tutti Fruitti Waffle.. It had a waffle, bananas, strawberries and ICECREAM!!

Good News!
Good News everyone! If you are in Australia, there is a competition on music, designing, photography (yay!), videography, and writing! There's tonnes of prizes to win, and I personally think it's such a great event even if you don't win.

Delays, delays, delays… And my busy life now.
Hi everybody!
Yea, read the title? I’m pretty busy yea? Well, I am now. With studying taking part of most of my life, it looks like it has really gotten in and running. My first exam is next Wednesday, and then the following week I will have two exams. I know, I know, it’s not as bad as what it should be, but I really should be pushing myself much harder than what I am now. So yea, it’s all about delays for the time being. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not delaying my studies, but I will be delaying all my blog posts and photo uploads by a good couple of weeks (Oh God, no one is going to visit my blog now ><) This includes our groups gatherings (Rea’s 20th and James’ going away party).
So yea, just let me do my studies first and then I’ll be back before you can even shout out “I want another post up!” (feel the sarcasm in that?) Just don’t leave me alone!! I will seriously be back within a couple of weeks with all my blogs uploaded and my banner updated.
I will be back!,
Carmen.
P.S.Any encouraging comments today?

It's been a long time.... once again.
Hi everyone
It's been a long time since I've written a blog. So I'll use this chance (since the internet is not AS scary) to write a blog of what I've done since my last post.
So basically, since then, I've started a new 365 project, which I have various themes according to the month. So far, I have partial black & whites, special lighting/long exposure and the sky/clouds. Up to now, I have sort of found that the special lighting and the sky is most interesting. At one point, I was going to give up on the first month. It was so bad. I'm now considering to do partial black and whites again for another month. Just not now, because I haven't really prepared my ideas for that theme yet.
So any ideas on what ideas I should do next? I was thinking of a macro theme. OK, let me try and put a voting poll later. I absolutely don't know how to do so yet.
Anyhows, I think I'm getting tired, and I will upload photos tomorrow (definately)

Sorry for the delayed uploads. It's just these day's I seem to have a memory loss. I think I'm going to do a To-Do list for me to remember what I have got to do! Anyhows, the photos are here, and I've included my newest ones. Thankyou.

Work, Work, Work, then....... PLAY!!
Hello all
Sorry for not posting frequently. It's just that I'm so busy with work, and yea, it's getting on my nerves. But never-the-less, I've still got the 365 project up and running (57 days to go from now!~) So basically, I've been working. So yea, I haven't been... posting... really.
But don't worry, I've still taken some pretty good pictures, and of course some disgusting pictures, that even I don't know why they tuned out so bad!~ That's pretty sad. *Cries*. But yea, within the month of July, I have found some (not much, but some) new techniques. I've still kept up my partial black and whites, but after reading some more of my magazines, I've found that I can do more with PhotoShop CS4 (Yea, apparently). So far, I've taken a few more studio-like pictures. I've done some overlays (not spectacular as what I thought it was), motion pictures (at a friends' birthday party [iceskating!~ no, I didn't fall. It was just a near-miss]) and some panoramics!
Ahh, panoramics. They are so cool! At first, I thought panoramics was easy to do (well, that's because I never did it properly), but it isn't as easy as what it looks like. At first, I thought I could just take a whole picture, full frame, and then just trim off what I don't want. But no, that didn't turn out good, and it was actually much smaller than what a proper panoramic is supposed to be. By previous versions of panoramic was like a 1000x2000 (estimate pixel size), but now, it's much bigger. It's now about 2000x3000 (estimate pixel size [I can't be bothered to look it up]). So basically, this time I used PhotoShop (yep, I'm making good use of my software), and I merged the 3 pictures together. That's the easiest way I could do it (from reference off a magazine). But yea, there are plenty of other ways such as stitching (yea, like stitching a blanket together). But if you don't do it good, you could end up with lines running down the picture.

Anyways, got to go, and I'm going to upload pictures later. I have actually used up 80% of the data allowance!

Morning Walks~
Hi people!~
Recently, I have been really busy on my studies, and yea, making me leave this blog for a while. Sorry for that, well really for anyone who reads this.
So yea, in this period of time I have created a new habit. And this is *drumroll*... Taking a morning walk! Yep, waking up at 6.45, getting out by 7, and walking for an hour or so. Sounds pretty lame and makes people ask, "Why would you want to wake up THAT early for?" Well, to put it straight, I have been gaining some useless kilos, and also, my doctor has suggested me to breathe more cleaner air into my lungs so I can minimize the sneezing in the season of Spring. That's a good reason, right?
So yea, when I went for my first walk, I went and took some hilly walk, just to walk up and down, and move my muscles. But sadly, the first time, I forgot to bring my camera!! I only had my phone with me, and yea, you know my expectations of photos. They got to have sufficient lighting and good composition. Yea, composition is not a problem, but the colours were so OFF!!
That also shoots me off to another point. Recently, my phone has been playing up, and turning off when its not supposed to turn off. That is a sign of "buy a new phone" right?? Well, to me, it is that sound. So like, I've been tlling myself to not go back to Sony Ericsson, because the one who JUST died on me, is a Sony Ericsson. And that only lasted me ONE year, and a little bit. And that is certainly not what I wanted. I wanted something like at least 2 years? Yea, the phone may seem old by then, but at least it still rings, it still can send/receive SMS's. Maybe not the most speck but yea, you get what I mean. So this time, I was determined to go back to Nokia. Yea, I saw a nice model. The Nokia N97Mini. It was pretty, cute, maybe not hardy, but yea, I liked the qwerty keyboard. But!! I went to the mobile phone companies, and unless I pay $50 or more for a plan, the handset is not free!! That made me so upset (nah, I didn't cry or anything), and yea, it set me off to find something more... CHEAPER for my budget. So yea, at this point, I bumped into this Sony Ericsson Xperia X10mini Pro. It looks good, feels good (I think?), its a good size and most importantly, IT HAS A QWERTY KEYBOARD!! Yea, I have this... qwerty keyboard thing in my head. I'm just sick and tired of sending SMS's using the 3 letter thing on the number keypad. Just over it. Well, I think, it's just that... I wouldn't want to upgrade to a new phone, if it's the same. No, I don't want to waste the new phone.
Ok, it's pictures time, these came from the time of when I had my second morning walk on Sunday morning. Yea, I sometimes woke up with a very "can't be bothered" mood, or it's just completely pouring down rain. So yea, enjoy the photos, and yea, blog again sometime~
