Small Group Baking @ The Manse

Butter! Flour! Sugar! Ginger Bread! Nice bread! These were the main subjects of our day at the manse where we baked and had so much goop on our hands.

So the first highlight of the day was the Ninja Bread Men. Yep, ninja bread men. It was so cool and exciting to see ginger bread being transformed into different shapes and or just any ordinary person shape, but a fighting ninja!

RICERally 2011! Yes, a bit delayed..

Hey everybody!
Oh, how glad I am to be writing in my blog, after like what, a month or so? Well anyway, since Chris’ 21st, me and my brothers went to RICERally! It was our very first RICE and it was so good! It was the time where we confessed God, and handed everything to Him. I feel so blessed!
So anyway, the night was held at Entertainment Centre, and the speaker of the night was Sam Chan. He was really funny. He made the whole God thing much easier to listen, because it was talked about God in a way that was more of “our language” rather than really Godly, and jargon-ish. Overall it was really good how he explained the way to be a true Christian.
One of the shots I love.. High ISO, but it’s not too bad. It’s acceptable.

BHBC.Church.Camp.2011 | And my week at Bedford College

Hi all
What a week I’ve had.. The weekend was filled with love and hilarious moments from the church camp, and then it was my first few days at Bedford College. Yes, and I will explain.
Let me start off with my church camp. One word will describe it: EXCITING! So how should I start? Hmph.. Well, we did tonnes of games and worshipping, and it was good to see and meet so many other people in our church! I seriously didn’t know so many people from church would come and join the camp even though it was so cold!! It was so cold, that I had to wear like, 2 jackets outdoors during the night time. It was just not funny. But it was ok during the day, because we played games, and outdoor activities, which made us warm by the temperature, and with the hearts!
We had nice group time where, we were talking about “the living stones”. It was quite an interesting topic really. Like seriously, it was getting pretty interesting when (I think) we church go-ers were considered as “living stones” and that we are the people who would spread the word of God and to worship him. So I guess it is a very good topic (thanks to Pastor George!) But this is only just the tip of the iceberg, and with addition to my so-so comprehension, it doesn’t really improve my understanding of it! But I’m sure one day I will understand it more.

J is for Jesus, J, J, J. P is for Prophecy, P, P, P.

Hi everyone!
What did I just hear you say? How come I didn’t post for so long? Well, lately, I’ve been busy with a few things, and yea, just didn’t have energy or motivation to do any blogging. But don’t worry, I have something that is pretty interesting this time.
Anyway, I have realised that I have not said much about my new activities; going to church and meeting new people.
So it’s usually a Saturday and Sunday that my brothers and I go to church. Saturday is a Youth Group (J’s) where we learn about God and have some fun games! And Sunday is when we go to Church to worship God and him sending Jesus to save us from our sin.
So I’ll just plop some photos down to show you what we do in J’s!
We normally play a game first, and this time is was Giants, Wizards and Pixies! It was hilarious

Ice Skating... with J's!!

Hi everybody again!
Until now, it has come to my mind, that I somehow do a post every week! It's very amazing and healthy for me and my blog to be posting every week!

So this week was started of with work, and mistakenly thinking the Easter Rabbit was going to come on Thursday, but instead, it is this coming Thursday!

And this week,my brothers and I went to ice skating with the J's youth group, and it was really fun. It was fully consisted of Anson clinging onto the wall, like never before, and Aaron taking only about half an hour to get off the wall and start the falling onto ice. It was also really funny having Sam trying to jump over the cone, and bumping it right "there", because he is just not tall enough to jump above the cone.

SYM Presents: Where is GOD in this CHAOS?!

Hi everyone!
Yes, I'm back. Back from a pretty busy week. First was James's 20th last week. So from then, my week was packed.

Straight after the party, I went off to J's with my brothers. It wasn't just another meeting that day, it was a movie night where we watched a movie called "Fireproof". It was a great movie. It was all about love and how, no matter how well you know a person, there will always be something that you disagree with, and how you must give it time to analyse. Even if you have been married or together for a long time. Think of it, conflict is not always bad. It just gives us time to know the person more. Well, I guess it's just each person's perspective to conflict.

It was then, my start of my working week. Well, it isn't much of a "week" it was just a starting day to go back to work. And yes, I have found a job. Finally, isn't it? I have been in there for a total of 3 weeks, and it's a childcare in Hurstville. The place and the people are very nice. So on Monday, I went to work like usual, and then I went to a seminar about Kids and Traffic. It was a pretty good session which consisted of songs and some theory.
