Cockle.Bay.Nightlights

Last month, during the Christmas season, Brian, Chris and I headed out to the city to take photos of the Christmas ornaments. It was really pretty, and as always, it's always very similar to other years, and it's basically just down back to the photographer to make the area look different and better than what it actually is. But none-the-less, I did my best once again and tried to make my photos look good with whatever I have on hand (not that I have millions of lenses and bodies to choose from anyway).
But regardless of how good or bad the photographer may be, they have to do one thing before heading out to an outdoor area to take photos. And what is it? Check the weather. Yep, check the weather. I did it this time, but I did it two days before the night, and it was wrong! It said that the rain was meant to be on the next day, and it wouldn't start until late afternoon, but you know what? It started right when we started taking photos. It couldn't have rained during the day, it couldn't have rained the next day, it had to rain right there and then. So yea, a note for everyone, check the weather before you even leave your house!~
Although it rained much earlier than expected, we got some decent photos with tripod and all, and the tree was just a fabulous as 2011's.
The Christmas tree at Cockle Bay.. Looks very similar to the one in the previous year.

Something new to the ornaments. Santa wrapped on the lights!
Apart from the Christmas ornaments I got some of the area's view..
